Our clinic is located at 41 Nezhinskaya Street, Odessa, Ukraine. We do not send our patients to outside laboratories for tests and provide a full range of dental services in our clinic, from diagnosis and treatment of pathologies to prosthetics and dental implants.

Diagnostic systems

In order to choose the right treatment tactics, high-quality diagnostics is necessary. Dent House Clinic uses the most modern diagnostic systems.

Myography

Myography is a special technique that evaluates the condition of the patient’s skeletal muscles and nervous system. This bioelectrical study allows the occlusal balance of the dentoalveolar zone to be assessed and the individual specificity of the jaw muscles to be determined.

This method of examination is necessary to obtain the required information in cases of inflammation of the jaw, trauma, defects of the dento-alveolar system and dental rows, bite disorders and facial nerve function.

It is an obligatory procedure in preparation for dental restorations, implants and for checking the quality of treatment.

Our clinic uses a special apparatus for surface electromyography. Using sensors placed on the facial areas, the device captures data during tooth compression tests. The data is then analysed using special software. In this way, doctors receive comprehensive information about the individual characteristics of the patient and can build the right tactics and treatment strategy.

Portable X-ray machine

The EzRay Air Portble Portable Scanner is the world’s first portable X-ray system with the highest level of operator and patient safety available today. The system utilises carbon nanotubes, eliminating the use of lead in dental diagnostics.

The inbuilt positioning system automatically determines the optimum angle of inclination of the device to take clear digital images of each tooth with consistent sharpness.

The model used at Dent House has the ability to quickly select and change the mode of examination, thanks to which a high-quality diagnosis of certain types of teeth, as well as the dento-alveolar systems of adults and children is carried out.

Gendex dental tomograph

Any patient of Dent-Haus has the opportunity to undergo a panoramic or 3D computerised examination right in our clinic. A special American-made dental tomograph Gendex GXCB-500 is used to perform prompt and high-quality diagnostics in the form of digital panoramic images in 3D and 2D format.

In a single pass, the specialist gets a complete picture of the anatomical condition of the patient’s dentoalveolar system.

Teleradiography apparatus

Telerentgenography (TRG) is a type of radiological examination that provides specialists with an image of the human skull. In dentistry, TRG is used to visualise the position of the upper and lower jaw, determine the angle of inclination of the teeth, and identify the condition of bone and soft tissues.

The device allows you to obtain images in two projections:

A frontal TRG scan provides an image of the front or back of the skull;

The lateral view provides a profile view and is more commonly used to detect dental irregularities.

We use a PaX-i PCH-2500 scanner.

Dental microscope for endo-treatment

With the help of a modern dental microscope AM-6000 our specialists are able to work effectively with carious cavities and defects located in hard-to-reach areas. The microscope also helps in the treatment of cysts and granulomas, high-quality cleaning of pulpitis canals, removal of infected tissues and dental implantation.

Therapeutic and surgical equipment

In their work, Dent-Haus specialists use turbine handpieces with a 3-point atomiser of cooling spray for patient comfort. The high rotation speed of the drill eliminates painful vibrations.

Surgical laser

Laser technologies are widely used today in medicine in general and in dentistry in particular. Moreover, the scope of their application is quite wide. Laser is used both for cosmetic and therapeutic procedures, including surgical procedures.

The light energy affects the water inside the cells, causing it to evaporate and killing bacteria. This also stops inflammatory processes.

A directional beam with a specific wavelength is used to treat dentinal tubules, promoting their occlusion, to create incisions with minimal tissue necrosis and bleeding, as the laser allows capillaries to be occluded.

Diode or erbium lasers are used in dentistry. They provide more effective and safer treatment procedures in therapeutic and surgical dentistry, implantology and periodontology. The laser can also be used for teeth whitening.

Piezotome – non-contact surgery

An instrument called a piezotome is associated with the emergence of a new method in dental surgery. This instrument is also known as an ultrasonic scalpel or ultrasonic knife. The piezotome can be used to perform gentle operations on the tooth bone and gums.

Unlike a drill, the piezotome does not break the bone, but cuts it. During treatment, there is no physical contact between the piezotome and the patient’s tissues, as the treatment is carried out by an ultrasonic wave.

It is currently the most gentle and non-invasive type of surgery used in dentistry. Depending on whether soft or bone tissues are affected, different types of nozzles are used. The instrument is also equipped with a special light and channels for irrigating the working area with antiseptic liquids. This protects the tissues from overheating and infection.

Through this system are conducted:

• tooth extraction;
• preparation for implantation, including bone harvesting and grafting;
• treatment of decay-affected areas;
• removal of cysts and granulomas;
• bite-correction surgeries;
• treatment of gum disease.
• Piezotome is the most modern instrument in dentistry at the moment. The dentists of Dent-Haus Clinic use the Japanese Surgic Pro piezotome.

Savitron – professional hygiene machine

This system is used for tartar removal and oral hygiene cleaning. Cleaning is carried out by the kinetic energy generated by the bursting of thousands of air bubbles guided by various shapes and sizes of nozzles.

Thus, the mechanical impact on the teeth and gums is minimal and the procedure is painless. In addition to cleaning and grinding teeth, Cavitron is used for the treatment of periodontal disease.

Special nozzles can also be used to remove plaque from baby teeth. This procedure does not cause discomfort and is a good prevention of tooth decay in children.

Beyond Polus – cold whitening

Beyond Polus is the newest laser teeth whitening system. It uses a special halogen lamp with a power of 150 W and an emitted wavelength of 480-520 nm.

This is the optimal spectrum for teeth whitening, with a special filter excluding harmful ultraviolet wavelengths from 100 to 400 nm. The procedure of cold whitening is quite fast and does not cause any unpleasant sensations either during or after it, while providing high-quality long-term results.

Laboratory equipment

Centrifuge for blood plasma separation

The centrifuge in dentistry is used to obtain the patient’s platelet-rich plasma (PRP – Platelets Rich Plasma). It contains so-called growth factors, which ensure accelerated tissue regeneration.

The use of the patient’s own plasma significantly accelerates the healing process after surgery. Platelet plasma is used in sinus lifts, augmentations, for filling dental cavities and in a number of other cases. To provide patients with perfectly biocompatible plasma, we use the capabilities of our own laboratory, including a special centrifuge.
