3D computer research in dentistry

Not every dentistry offers its patients the opportunity to take a panoramic image of the dentition, and especially a 3D CT scan. In our clinic, a panoramic image or CT scan is performed very quickly on a dental tomograph Gendex GXCB-500 (USA). The use of this device allows you to get high-quality and informative images of the upper and lower jaw, temporomandibular joint and maxillary sinuses in real time. If necessary, the image can be recorded on disc or printed on photographic paper and given to the patient. Our doctors instantly receive images (panoramic, etc.) on the screen of their computer monitor, can quickly process it – increase the size, enhance contrast, etc. This allows us to detect pathological foci at the earliest stages of disease development, to control the quality of treatment, providing the patient with the most comfortable and effective treatment. Medical school students receive practical training at our clinic and familiarise themselves with the latest diagnostic methods.
